Coursera offers a number of free courses but the problem with the free courses is that they do not include any certification after its completion. This implies that you will have all the knowledge and information that is being delivered during the entire course but you will not have any proof that you have taken this course. Another loophole of this is that you will not be able to quote this course anywhere because of the lack of evidence.

    Another issue with the free courses is that you will not be able to access the assignments that are being given to the students which only those students can access who have paid for the course. Likewise, you will not submit any assignment to the instructor and there will be no feedback coming from them.

    These free courses are only available through virtual means where the training programs are not within the reach of those who are accessing the free package on Coursera. Still, Coursera has a number of free courses that you can access to increase your knowledge and strengthen your skills.
