LinkedIn has changed its interface making it a bit complex for the new people to locate LinkedIn Pulse. However, the app has become much easier to use but still, if you are new you will need a direction to access Pulse. Now the LinkedIn feed, also known as the home page, is flooded with the posts of those channels or people whom you are following along with some suggested content coming to you through sponsorships. Previously, in the old user interface, the ‘Discover More’ option used to appear at the bottom of your LinkedIn profile. This option is used to direct individuals to the influencers and other media channels from which they used to follow those who match their interests.
So you can still access the features of LinkedIn Pulse in the current platform. There is an option of ‘My Network’ on the upper bar of the LinkedIn profile. Click on this option and you will see two new options. The first option is ‘Grow’ where you can fast grow your network by connecting with a like-minded community. On a little swipe up, you will see a number of people associated with your current education, learning, and training experience along with those people who are working at your company. LinkedIn itself suggests these people to you for furthering your connections
It even provides you with some useful channels working on it that resonate with your profile. If you swipe up more, you will see the groups that you might find interesting because of their association with your interests and future goals. The other option was ‘Catch up’ where you can see the major life events like birthdays, job changes, education, etc. of the people who are already connected with you to stay in touch with them.
